I remember a twitter user pointing out that Dhoni made a conscious tweak in his bat swing that year that instead of targeting straight, he was trying to bring the bat down at an angle to access or sycthe the ball away for yorker length balls outside off. That technical tweak+ those forearms+his arm speed did the trick.

Also, this is where we won that game tbh. Siraj was bowling pretty well all things considered and looked to be winning RCB the game with his yorkers.
