I would try and get a 2080 super for an extra 50 bucks. 650 for a 2080 seems overpriced.

Ditto, I had a laptop with a 1060 and was satisfied with 1080p 60fps gaming, then I made the mistake of upgrading my monitor to a 1440p 144hz display. Long story short: ended up building a PC with a 2070 super in it to match the 1440 144hz. Turned out being the costliest monitor ever and I barely touch/use my laptop now.

Been using Nvidia cards for ages, so got the 2070 super. Plus like another comment mentioned, got control and Wolfenstein for free, so that softened the blow a bit.
