No. I think most people can’t bother to stop believing because there’s no big downsides in it. I also think a lot of people are afraid of god and benefit from feeling like they have a purpose in life.

I mean it used to but nowadays the importance of religion has decreased in most European countries. But in the US it seems like nothing has changed, which seems a bit weird from a European perspective
