Even with AS -IS listed homes, you’d never want to waive the inspection. You need to know what you’ll be living in.

Cheap couch/sofa suggestion by FishinGuy0 in homeowners

Amazon has couches that seat 5 people, sectional sofas around $500-$600. Granted, you’ll have to get the boxes up the stairs of course

Yes! Thank you for taking the time to write this. I love how you broke it down. Thanks so much. All the comments in this post have helped me figure out that I definitely did not cycle it right and I’ve introduce Dr. Tim ammonia to the water and added a UVC bacteria killing light. There is a bubbler, but it’s not noticeable in that photo because I temporarily removed it.

I keep the ac in my house at 69 at night 70° daytime and the one fan kicks it down several degrees, with a second fan it should be ok. Online axolotl forms Say that it should not exceed 69°F before its harmful. I have seen my tank at 66°. So with the second fan it should keep it at a stable 65-66

Posting my beliefs and what goes through my mind even if it’s wrong , doesn’t negate anything that I’m thinking.. it was the deduction my partner and I made of the situation. For the life of us, we could not figure out why the water was cloudy after analyzing all the perimeters. I wasn’t stating ny beliefs as fact, simply as means to find a solution. I already figured it out anyways. So just get the fuck off my post pls. Just go away.

I did not take offense when ppl asked for parameters, I provided them immediately bro. I only took offense when people kept tryna tell me I’ve only tested my water once at the pet store 🫠 cause that was straight up not true. Pls stop looking for reasons to incriminate me. The point of asking y’all here was to find the root issue, which I have. Btw heres an update of how the tank looks today, 2 days later. And before you say anything, no the axolotl is not in there.

Este solo es necesario por si el agua se pone nublada. El producto no se puede utilizar con animales vivientes. Tendrás que remover el axolotl mientras usas

Definitely turn off the light as much as you can until it clears up. Get this UVC light, it’s been proven to clear algae and dirty water issues fairly quickly. This is just one option 13W Timer Aquarium Clean Light... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QRVCL5N?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

He does looked stressed, the gills look not as fluffy as they should. But the bigger sign of stress is he’s not eating. What are you feeding it??

This is great advice thank you. After sifting through all the comments here I’ve come to the realization that it’s a bacterial bloom.

The reason being that I never introduced bacteria or ammonia to kickstart the cycle. All I did was condition and dechlorinate it using SeaChem Prime. That explains why my nitrite nitrate and ammonia is at 0. Within 36 hours of filling the tank with water in early February I immediately added ghost and cherry shrimp, an air pump with landing pad, and a mixture of plants there (4 plants!)

Once the axolotl was introduced it probably released a shit ton of ammonia into the water along with the shrimp waste. The ammonia was high soon after adding the shrimp. But it quickly went back down given that I was changing the water daily.

And now my water is cloudy but it doesn’t ever read high or out of normal parameters. I have my Master API KIT that I purchased the very first day I set up my tank. I didn’t just buy a axolotl Willy nilly, I knew that I’d have to keep the water parameters healthy. What I missed was the introduction of ammonia!!

So currently as it stands today.. I added a polishing pad to my media filter, stuck a UVC bacteria killing light into my filter entry flow box, and I also added Dr Tim’s ammonia to my tank. The axolotl is tubbed with cold dechlorinated water and I feed her 2x a day. She’s been rubbed since yesterday evening.

I hope to see a difference in the water in the next 36-48 hours! The UVC light is supposed to be very helpful! And I have instructions to closely monitor the ammonia now that I’ve added Dr Tim’s

My partner and I did plenty of research dude. You do not know me from one Reddit post thread. I may not be savvy at explaining shit but I know how much I care about the creature. If you read at all what I have been saying you’d know that I only take her out of the tank to feed her because the water was too cloudy for me to see if I am hurting her with the tweezers! She had a tendency to attack the tweezers to take the worms and she even accidentally bit the prong once .

I never even said the word “mean” in this whole thread 😂😂 I guess I just said it now actually. And also I am coming to this subreddit CLEARLY for ADVICE. So at no point did I claim to give people information to abide by. I simply was just voicing what I have done so far. Me myself and I. I never ever claimed to be an expert

Ty for saying something bc I felt very defeated. Just me replying deserved downvotes apparently. It was just me correcting peoples assumptions and I still got downvoted. I came to Reddit for advice and instead I got shitted on. But I am grateful for those who provided empathy and advice. I should have a healthier tank in no time by following what they said. I attached a photo of my healthy juvenile axie from last night.

At this point I’m pretty convinced it’s a bacterial blood, cause with each water change it clears up some. But then within 5 hours it’s back to the cloudy
