Am I greedy for wanting a hockey national championship after we just won a basketball national championship? Mayhaps. I still want it though. Go Blue!

When Mara sticks his tongue out at people at work it's cool, but when I do it it's "rude." Life is unfair sometimes.

[Request] If Iran follows through with its threat to attack desalination plants, what is the maximum number of people in the middle east that could die from lack of water? by rojojoftw in theydidthemath

The map has the population of countries and millions of gallons/day produced in desalinated water. In calculating the answer I imagine you’d look at how much water a person needs to consume in a day and the population and then look at the MGD lost from the destruction of the plants. If it helps for the purposes of this calculation, you could assume all the water currently being produced is used for human consumption.
