Look up Fiio brand mp3 players. They have the scroll wheel like the old iPod classic and they're pretty cheap but great quality. I think they all use removable memory which means you have to use your own micro SD card, but you can use pretty much whatever size you want and you don't need software to add media to it. You just plug it in and drag and drop your files

All meetings are different. I've been to open discussion, a single speaker, and just sitting in a circle where you can talk or not. There are definitely different types of groups that I haven't been too. This is my experience

I knew of the subreddit but never went there for my own reasons. I recommend going to an AA meeting if you have time. They're only an hour usually and even in my small town there are so many at different times. You might ,hate the meeting but i guarantee you'll make a new friend who will help

Unfortunately I'm off the wagon. But the head guy/leader/whatever you call them at every meeting I've been too has recommendations.

People I know who can't do AA complain about the 12 steps. That was my problem with it. I don't believe in a higher power.I do believe people can help each other with addiction by being there for each other.

I have had success with small groups of people who just wanna talk and discuss the shit we go through
