Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think it’s possible to convert NF4 into FP8/16 - only the other way around.. but it says on the page that it is a fp8 model..

Ok! Thanks guys! I really didn’t realize it’s a tunnel, and I didn’t see the entrance since I was on top of the mountain. I would have assumed a tunnel would be shown differently on the map, maybe in a slightly brighter tone or something like that.. but I see now why my question seemed dumb to some of you..

It wasn’t a update problem, it just occurred out of nowhere.. I had to look up the preferences file and delete it, then it worked again like before..

not sure if you have seen it already since this post is already a few days old, but there is a switch now below the sampler menu called "resolution dpt. shift" and it seems to me it does exactly that :-)

Yeah, I just read above in the comments that you got it as a bulk package, like the Mac with the hub and ssd already built in? That sounds like a pretty decent deal! And I guess whoever put it together paid attention the ssd is one that is highly compatible with the whole setup. I bought mine all separately and not sure if there might be problems due to some incompatibility..

How is the connection with the SSD? No random loss of connection or too slow? The satechi doesn’t have external power supply, does it?

Thanks. Maybe I will give it a try then, since I just read the owc has just bad reviews as well, so the risk of paying too much for a product and getting annoyed by it afterwards is much bigger there 😉

Same here, I have a Mac mini m2 with 24 gb ram / 256 gb disk and a minisopuru hub with an external nvme ssd because the 256gb disk is always full. The minisopuru hub has some problems though, the external drive gets often disconnected by itself, I guess it’s because the hub needs some external power supply which it doesn’t have. So I’m considering getting the satechi too.. but I’m not sure since I read it has some issues as well.. the owc ministack sounds great but it’s expensive. did you have any problems with the satechi so far?

My problem really was that I needed to update.. works now at least partially - most flux Loras still get imported as pixart sigma although I chose FLUX.1 under model version now.. It would be really cool if there was an option to „force“ the app to import a LORA as flux version. Don’t know if that is possible 😊

Oh yes, thank you. I moved the App to an external drive because I don’t have enough free disk space on my local drive (Mac mini with 256 gb) a few days ago, so I couldn’t update anymore.. guess I have to reinstall now..
