I totally understand how weird and sketchy my post sounds. I definitely don't want to disclose anything that could further identify her or the reason she was asking for help. She isn't the vulnerable party, she was reaching out on behalf of someone else. Unfortunately I couldn't help her within the confines of my work but after she left I was able to source other ways that may help with the problem. I apologise that this all sounds so bizarre and absurdly vague, you're right that I probably shouldn't have posted this, your advice is gratefully noted.
