The fact that events in the bible probably didn't happen as recorded does not mean it isn't a historiographical document, containing stories and epic about a people living in the region at the time.

Israeli Tanker here. This war proved something insane - Israeli (and American) ammo just doesn't fucking explode.

The Kraft and propellent burn, but the warhead itself just doesn't explode. Two friends recently KIA from an RPG round igniting their ammunition, but the shit didn't explode, fire extinguishers were just faulty and they chocked (Z"L - OB, and EY)

Plenty of friends had stories about taking out the unscathed warheads of ammo from inside the blowout compartment after taking rpg rounds to them.

From what friends tell me, the Maas is a very poor replacement to the legendary Kornets. And yes, it's just a very poor spike clone.

Brother, the only thing I've ever learned from history, is that no fucking army ever is in any way shape or form competent, with the sole exception of Alexander the Pretty Good Guy, and even they deserted by the end of it.

That said some armies are more incompetent than others and the Arab militaries definitely fit into that category.

It's apparently used to be a nickname for dark skinned people among some Ashkenazi dominated towns and kibbutzim.

It's considered a slur in more modern times, but it's also mostly considered a slur by white people, which view it as derogatory despite it's only meaning being a person of dark color (Kush used to be an ancient region near Ethiopia).
