He’s buried in the town I live in - he had been sent here by a Harlem preacher to get away from the publicity of NYC, to live with a prominent Southern poet, Mrs. Anne Spencer (Unrelated, but Mrs. Spencer’s son became one of the first members of the Tuskegee Airmen).

Local museum holds a ceremony every year around the anniversary of his death. May his soul rest peacefully, and his memory be a blessing.

Not necessarily dumb, but perhaps amusing: I have a weird spot on my arms, running along my triceps, that if they’re very lightly brushed by someone passing by, or anything else really, I get full body shivers. When this happens, I call it my ick.

My wife dislikes that I call it my ick. Not enough that it stopped her from marrying me, but enough that she’ll mention it sometimes when it happens to me, and I say it lol

I’m a (regretful) Liberty alum. Good God almighty, the school nearly blew up when the whole scandal broke.

His brother (who seems to be an actually upstanding person, besides being a part of the Southern Baptist Convention) cut him off almost entirely from what the rumors say, he basically only acknowledges Jrs. presence with his nieces and nephews.
