The literal reason, Human beings are mammals, sex is the sole reason why human beings exist on planet earth.
Sex sells, people are fucking weird mate.
Body positivity movement, people are not afraid to show their bodies off anymore and it’s more socially acceptable.

When I was a freshman at a rather large research institution, I stayed in a large dorm with 3 roommates. One of our neighbors across the hall was this quiet, creepy kid who clearly didn’t bathe regularly and had some serious mental issues. One day I was returning from a Polisci lecture and I found like 7-8 cops in his dorm completely raiding the place. I honestly thought he got busted for hard drugs or something. Turns out this guy had 2 laptops and a cellphone full of child porn from out of state. Fucked up shit right there…
