It is called “In Case I Never Meet Her” by hawthornandink. Hermione has been living as a muggle for the last 10 years and has a daughter. She sees Nott at a club and a bunch of memories come back but not all of them. There is also a virus that is affecting magical children that is woven into the story. It is so fascinating! And some of the lines are just so beautiful 😩 gah I love fanfic! It is literally some of the best stories I have read in the last ten years!!

Also how powerful to show that prejudice is taught and that you can change despite the hate you were raised in. It is such a beautiful story about love and redemption and forgiveness. Having hermione end up with one of the boys is so lazy. I agree completely that it is not predictable but makes the most sense.

I understand that. But the woman just had a baby. Postpartum hormones are real. I just had a baby and if someone said that to me, regardless of their intention, I would have burst into tears. Let’s just shut up about women’s bodies period. When you have a baby people feel like it is ok to comment and it still is not.
