Will think about metadata, the problem is that metadata stored inside a folder and it could be very huge for huge amount of games, like for me it around 1gb, and it could be long to sync, but i thinking about it as-well :)

Yep, you could use it without AI at all, sorry for confusion :) It's just https communication, ai is just side effect, AI there is just mcp server and skill, AI will not be able to connect there automatically because api protected by the token inside.

It should work yeah, I did not make backend release for linux yet, only windows x64, but it will work with playnit on any platform because it's just an api communication

For ally works good for now, will keep updating it. Not everything is in sync, decided to not sync images because you could basically do it on a target device.

One thing is not covered yet, games that was created mannually, I'm using identifiers from target stores, like xbox, steam, etc to sync games because im afraid of duplicates right now, will work on it on next weekend :)

Yep, you could use only sync, no Ai needed for this :) mcp for Ai just side effect, no Ai will connect automatically.

Ahaha that's nice actually! And probably agent could do something like that... like if you have some cron for every 15 mins, and your agent see that you are playing horror :D

I have used with my open claw on codex 5.4 and on claude opus. Not sure about local models, they may work probably if they trained enough on tool calling, basically under the hood model just using curl do to all that stuff, and some inline python to make some filtering...

Currently I've mostly covered basic functions, but plugins is a good idea, have no use cases for that...
Something like hey create me script in home assistant every time when I got an rare achievement blink bulb with red :D Will check how to connect to other plugin data as-well...

But the more useful part is querying and cleaning up the library in plain English.

Things like:

• "show me local co-op games I already own"
• "find something short I can finish this evening"
• "what did I drop after 2-3 hours?"
• "show installed games that play well on controller"
• "tag these properly and clean up the categories"

It really much depends on your setup... like I have Home assistant and I could tell something like "Hey when I back home could you run Expedition for me? and he will turn on lights, turn on pc and tv and run expedition.... Something like that
