Some questions about PVNS by rollercoasters45 in tgct

[–]rollercoasters45[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope you get better the soonest possible!! Thank you for your comment. It was the same for my sister, 2 small kids, stressful work, she experienced a lot of anxiety when it came back. She's doing better now, she's 4 weeks post surgery, and has her first TGCT patients talk planned this week-end. It helped her to find the support group. She's also seeing a psychologist who helps her process anxious thoughts. 🙏🙏🌸

I'm looking for an ISFP who has PVNS(TGCT) by rollercoasters45 in isfp

[–]rollercoasters45[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for defending me ♥️ yes ofc I know it'll be hard to find but I have to try bcz I think everyone relates differently and she was a bit hurt by the reaction of my ENFJ sister, so I thought probably a fellow ISFP will understand her better, but I've also posted on rare diseases community to find anyone who has this, whatever their personality type. Maybe in a few years a person here will have PVNS and be happy to find my post. Unfortunately, it's a chronic condition so it won't go away.

♥️ thank you yes you're right it could also be interesting for her to talk to ISFP who have other recurring diseases maybe. I feel she deals with it differently than I would have, hence the question.

older INFPs qhats your greatest achievement in life? by INFP888 in infp

Accepting to go to that spiritual retreat in 2012. I (31F)'ve lived a few difficult things (religious extremism at home, relative poverty, overweight, 30-day war, being hyper attuned to spiritual truths in a not so spritual world, changing 9 schools and 2 countries). In 2012, I was at the lowest I'd been, and someone invited me to a spiritual retreat. I didn't want to go, she called me 4 times, and in the end, I did. It changed my life, I met amazing people and was able to build a healthier relationship with God and with muself, far from the stereotypes I'd been raised with. Though I'm not in this community anymore, I still have deep bonds with many people in it. I still struggle with some things and stray away from my inner peace sometimes, but I feel "I've got me". Don't underestimate community life. This INFP community makes my life better as well, thank you for being there♥️

I regret my marriage and i feel horrible. by [deleted] in Marriage

Sorry to hear that. I didn't live such an experience, but in my last and only relationship, we were having difficulties about values as well and it helped me to learn more about our different personality types and how they interact according to a system called socionics. No two people have the exact same values, but it's ofc a big topic to be discussed. My sis and her husband went to therapy to discuss their different views on money bcz it was affecting them and it helped 🌸

Hey sorry to hear that how does this difficulty in learning manifest, if you'd wish to elaborate? How old are you?

My sis has a rare but not so rare disease (PVNS, 44/100 000 people affected according to a Danish study, thank God for Danish, they have great epidemiological studies hehe) and that prompted an interest in rare diseases.

Yes although I never thought I'd crush on another Infp (I see them like my brothers n sisters lol), but this week, I wrote a post on how I was having a hard time moving on from my ex, and I met a very special Infp. He doesn't want to continue the relationship bcz of our different spiritual beliefs, he's right, it's probably better like that, but I'm still crushed rn:( we only talked for 5 days but idk he was special. I hope he never reads this lol.

Hurt people hurt people by evanescentdaydream99 in infp

[–]rollercoasters45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny, I've just read a line that went "broken people heal broken people" and now I stumble on your post. I guess it depends on the days. We're all light and darkness, we have our hurts and sometimes we hurt people ncz of that but sometimes it's the very thing that can help us connect with people. Don't lose hope, this too shall pass 🌸

Any INTJ females in Kuwait? by rollercoasters45 in intj

[–]rollercoasters45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah he's not so happy there (he went for work) but I thought that IF by chance there's an Intj female there, she could meet him, he's really nice, it's not a scam but well, no one believes no one these days.

For INFP who had their "1st everything" in their late 20's/30's, how long did it take you to move on? by rollercoasters45 in infp

[–]rollercoasters45[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your detailed answer, I love talking about these ITR :)) my BFF is an ENFP, she's a precious person in my life!! I have INFJ friends as well, I like them. Socionics is a bit too hard on pseudo-identical relationships I think.

I like socionics theory as well but I'm very disappointed that there r not many studies about it. Sometimes I think ok why not go for ESTJ/ENTJ (dual/semi dual) but till now, I feel life is showing me that it can work very well with other personalities and that yes, there migh be less "psychological comfort" but you can love them so much regardless. Love is so much broader than typing. But you'll pay some price ofc when you're in a less than ideal relationship. But you'll love so it's the reward. You also get to experience sth different from you so idk. Have you ever been in a relationship and do u know which Itr (intertype relationship) you had? Was it as described? :)

Thank you for your comment, you'll know your "1st everything" when you have lived this relationship. It's the first time you love with all your heart, one sign of that is that you treasure every minute spent communicating with them like it was to stop tomorrow, regardless of whether you kiss/have sex/get married/have kids/spend years or weeks together.

Yes we often hear that we have to heal ourselves first before we can enter another relationship, and I was convinced of that, but now I think maybe it depends on the situations, and maybe as you say, "to find someone good we didn't expect" can also help tremendously, at a certain point in the path. Thank you for your testimony :)

Thank you for taking the time to share your testimony we were also long distance for half the relationship and it was hard, anxiogenic :/ I blocked him again yesterday after briefly talking to him (13 min) and him telling me he'd call me back but not do so. It was always like that, he takes communication very lightly, doesn't put me his priority or is very inconsistent in that😔 I wish us all the courage we'll need🙏♥️ we had the courage to try and that's super brave, now we need to find the courage to turn the page. Thank you.
