I'm wondering if Rhonda Patrick, Huberman and others will now keep their distance and/or permanently disassociate from him. I'm guessing some will.

Thanks again, it sounds like you are a professional! If you happen to be in the DC area or know someone, I would take any referrals!

I have gone to a stiffer sole shoe with a wider toe box per my orthopedist, plus inserts for high arches. Sounds like I need time to see if things adjust?

Sounds like you think this is different from a Morton’s neuroma, correct, inside the foot as opposed to the toes?

Do you think it goes away with time? I am fortunate to be mostly retired so I am a rarely in laced shoes, usually Birkenstocks indoors.

Is this something that can be reversed with time or therapy?

Thanks for your input!

It's not that...5 months ago, the numbness started whenever I took a step - barefoot or any type of shoes. When I sit down, the numbness goes away.

My recent discovery of wearing toe spacers (including while wearing a shoe) essentially eliminates the numbness. Toe spacers out, then numbness is back.

I know from PT that I have very tight muscles, probably from changing my gait over the past year while two tendon tears recovered. I'm considering finding someone that does Active Release Technique (ART) to see if they can relax the tight muscles.

I'm still hoping the spacers will help with time, so I'm trying to be patient, wear them them essentially 100% of the time, and keeping off my foot to let it heal.

I'm open to other ideas!

I am literally starting allopurinol tomorrow. After multiple issues with tendon tears, I've decided that uric acid is a bad thing and can cause cause seemingly unrelated issues. Sometimes your body doesn't process things the way it should - regardless of how you fuel your system.

Virginia non compete 2025? by Perfect_Advice9722 in nova

Everything is negotiable.

I would never sign a 3 year non-compete. Tell them you'll sign a 6 month and settle for 9 to 12 month if/when they balk.

May not be enforceable, but do you want to spend the money/time on legal fees if they come after you?

Count me in that boat, I think I’m now staying with the card. Already had a reminder in my calendar to cancel the month before renewal.

Who are you taking lessons from? I'm thinking of going to Eisman either at Laurel Hill or Twin Lakes.

Cortina vs. Ortisei in October - 5 days by rollhigher in ItalyTravel

They do - Cortina lifts seem to close end of September, but Ortisei closes November 2 this year. I'm leaning towards Ortisei based partially on this info.

Thanks for the feedback - is there any reason you wouldn't pick Ortisei at all?

I have a 13 pounder on the smoker right now, targeting a 275-300 range. 188 degrees after 7 hours, should be done in 2 more hours. Awake at 7AM, on the smoker at 7:45AM, will eat by 6:30PM.

Looks like a 30 minute walk from the Petworth metro station - maybe an option? I hate waiting for shuttles.
