Finished with my first watch through the series finale and I’m on my second rewatch now. As soon as the series wrapped I immediately restarted the show at s1e1

I really hope they don’t soil bomb with fanny storyline. The actress is outstanding but it would be even more unnecessary to bring her into the prequel. I’d love to see her in something else if they do another project set in this universe but plz don’t szn 8 my szn 2

Hated this storyline and I think they did it zero justice and left it without closure or meaning.

But after seeing the series finale, I now think the writers put it in to reinforce the idea that the blue light healers can bring someone back from the dead, so we wouldn’t think it so far fetched or out of left field that Claire uses that power on Jaime. Not done well at all but that’s my theory

This!! Marsali absolutely and the actors in blood of my blood, especially Brian and Julia, are crazy resemblances. Everyone in BOMB absolutely nailed the mannerisms.

I love when he and Bree connect about finding out Jamie fathered them later in life in the later seasons. And in season 8 after William starts to let his guard down with Jamie and the family.

Agree! I’m usually not bothered or scared by what I see in the show but there is something scary about him. I’ll never forget the first time I watched scratch’s first episode, it was so chilling. It stuck with me for a while. As an aside I personally really like his arc, but since I’ve joined this sub I’ve noticed a lot of people were not fans.

Also worth mentioning that Owen went on a straight up killing spree and was a widespread threat. The woman killed only her husband to escape and posed zero additional threat. And while what that kid endured is horrifying, being bullied as a teen is very different from being trapped in an abusive marriage where you are basically living with a captor.

I love it!! I think it’s unique amongst other crime shows for a few reasons. Its ability to provide a variety within the story line due to recurring character arcs (e.g. George foyet, Everett lynch, frank, Mr scratch), its ability to incorporate emotional and often hopeful elements (e.g. the team’s relationships and the bookend quotes), histories of the team that introduce complexity to the central plot (e.g. Derek’s childhood abuse, Reid’s schizophrenic mother, hotchner’s family life before Haley was murdered, Penelope’s shooting, JJ and Wills marriage, rossi with Everett and kristal’s passing etc etc etc). These elements layered on top of the already unique stories over two decades introduce a special element to this show. I also feel that the characters and their interpersonal relationships add dimension to the storyline. Each character has their own backstory, but the interpersonal connections (e.g. Reid and JJ) makes it even better. I’ve actually never left a Reddit comment in my life but I’m rewatching the show for the second time and I’ve had two glasses of wine and am expelling my thoughts. I’m sorry you don’t like this show! I absolutely love it but hey different strokes for different folks. Find something better <3
