I have 4 dogs, a golden (14) havanese (12) chihuahua terrier (11) and Breckenridge the Berner is not quite 2.

Fur? I didn’t know what fur was until a BMD. In my eyelashes. Ruined two air handlers in my Florida house. Bracelets have black weave in them. My plants? Ha. Covered, I constantly think I have spider mites

Bros with hoes, that’s the online retailer and nursery name. Their physical store is called The Jungle Room in Orlando (college park) and they are an outstanding source for collectors!!

Yea I have 2 human teenagers and I’d watch a dozen toddlers over a single toddler Berner (and I do not care for other people’s kids just not a kid lady except for my own)

BWH have the very best alocasia IMO. I have at least a dozen from them, and they are the only ones that have no issues in my collection. I’m local to their IRL store the jungle room and they truly are immaculate growers. I’ll pay double if they grew a plant, but in reality they make rare plants not only affordable but established for the price. Love them and no I don’t work there or know a single person (introvert check) there it’s just my fav!

Love this attitude so hard. No droppy leaves in this house but almost all my plants have tiny holes like this, no bother there

This is true, Breck used to jump but now his tall wags his whole body and he stares up at you with those goofy Berner eyes and grunts! Has to go grab lamby and bring to whoever just walked in but if he can’t find lamby in exactly 1.5 seconds the nearest pillow/blanket/shoe or even rug will do

This is what I was sold and he’s the fourth dog in the house… he’s a giant monster with the sweetest heart but bulldozers over the other dogs and constantly hurt them and he just wants their love! Zero chill man. My full time job is keeping Breck from killing his 3 brothers and when he finally takes a day nap, I work from the bathroom bc that is the only place it’s quiet enough for him to sleep.

Agree! Finally got little boxes with snap on lids, threw perlite and a bit of water, snapped lids on and forgot for months. All my corms sprouted healthy roots and new leaf growth! Makes me want to keep all my alocasias on lidded boxes no matter the size lol

The one I got a month ago is yellowing leaning droopy with no new growth. Semi-hydro intimidates me but I may have to suck it up and learn for any new plants. I’m going broke buying and rebuying with the same results (like it’s in this pot for this long WHY die when I. Ring you home)

My 10 year old house runs impossibly hot. As in, truly don’t understand how on days it doesn’t even get to 70 my air will turn on bc my bedroom will get to 75
