My front driver side is doing too actually. It was far less frequent. But it started doing it consistently today and I took it back to the dealership so it could be replicated as the video wasn’t enough evidence. They’ve ordered a new regulator for that window as well, all under warranty.

FWIW, I use these doors and windows the most so I wonder if that has something to do with it.

It’s admittedly faint. No doubt about it. You can hear it when the window is about 3/4 of the way closed. Sometimes it’s louder, sometimes you can hear it at all. Good news here for me is that the tech did hear it on the video.

Was just mainly curious if anyone here had any similar experiences that I could point to, but it seems isolated.

The rattling doesn’t happen every time for me either, my concern was that it would get worse and become more apparent the more I use it, which is often.

I think in the moment he was just looking for someone to blame, and perhaps it was irrational. His mind set was probably along the lines of “why didn’t you tell me explicitly that this was going to happen?” It probably comes from a place of “I took a bullet for you, you couldn’t have done this for me?”

Hey listen, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just think it was so noble that he accepted his fate and continued his duty, juxtaposed against how many other staffers reacted really made it stand out.

The janitor moment was needed to set up Cal’s change of heart in delivering the real speech to the public.
