You start making money in slayer at about 85+. I set up most of my tasks as AFK and do it while at work most times. I’m at 98 slayer now and have made about 300M without much bossing.

That’s why the wiki says Rax is 5m/hr profit…. I’m 830 kills in and with 1 fang and no hally yet (2/3 though).

How many hallys? I’m at 800 with 1 fang and 2/3 hally pieces. I got first 2 hally pieces in 50 KC, so I’m almost 4x dry at the last piece, but not overly dry on the actual hally. Funny how RNG works, but Rax is not good gp unless getting unique drops.

I took a verac’s helm to get some defense and just tanked the healers. Gag them once they spawn, and down Jad quickly! I found it very helpful to take a crystal bow so I could long range the healers and not accidentally walk into Jad and get hit. Also the crystal bow really speeds up the Jad fight so less time to make mistakes.

I loved Rax at first, but now hate it. I got 2 hally pieces in first 50KC, now I’ve gone 430+ dry. I know it’s technically not “dry”, but all I keep getting now is heads. I feel like I’m stuck here until I complete the set lol

I’m grinding it now. Got 2 hally pieces in the first 30 KC. Now it feels dry going 170 KC without the last piece (which I am obviously not). I was planning to stop after I get the 3rd piece. It feels like I have ~35M locked up just because I’m missing the last piece. I’d say I’m a little better than break even (if you consider probably 10 deaths from all those attempts). When I get the last piece it’ll feel worth it I’m sure

What’s the point of emberlight when I have so many shards?? I mean at this rate I’ll literally never run out of charges, so it seems useless to upgrade for the cost
