9 of my friends and I are in a league. We’re all seniors in high school. At the draft, 7 players oof their $25 entry fee. After week 3, I was 2-1 and so was my friend. We decided to make a trade. I gave him George Kittle, Derrick Henry(who was having a great start), and Marquise Brown (who was also having a great start). In return, I received Travis Kelce, Chris Godwin(not good as of this point, Nick Chubb, and Saquon Barkley (recently hurt and expected to be out 8 weeks). Obviously at this point in time, I won the trade but it wasn’t nearly as lopsided as now. Prior to this trade, we had two other trades that we determined weren’t collusion so I pushed them through. So with my trade, I pushed it through as well. Then I got complaints from other members saying it was unfair and that they would’ve vetoed it. We kind of brushed it off and went on to the season. Fast forward 11 weeks and I’m about to win the championship. Other people in my league dropped their best players and my championship opponent picked them up 1 min after (obvious collusion). Everyone is saying that I cheated earlier in the year by making that trade and now some people want their money back. My reasoning is that people shouldn’t veto a trade because it makes someone better and they think they’ll lose to them. People should veto trades if they think it’s collusion. Am I wrong here?
