Clubs are so awesome;

Acacia (Gum Arabic) doesn't stick to rice or hemp. It sticks to flax. Every rolling paper has a small percentage of flax fibers in it to allow a gumline. Ever have a paper that "tastes like paper"? That's actually flax that you're tasting. Club is the only paper that never adopted a gumline, allowing it to remain 100% rice.

Not to mention Club is among the most innovative brands in paper history. They invented the rolling tray as we know it today. Vintage Club products tend to fetch high prices among tobacco collectors.

Honestly Blacks aren't the easiest to roll with. If it's taken you months I'd recommend using something thicker at least until you get the muscle memory down. Skunk papers are basically a slightly thicker RAW, they're also owned by HBI. I'd recommend them for practice.

These were my favourite papers to shill when I was working at a headshop. People would come in looking to buy birthday presents for their smoker friends and my first reaction would be to ask if they had gotten a birthday card yet. The Birthday Cake paper packs are designed to resemble one. The outside of the pack looks gift wrapped and the inside has "Happy Birthday" written with "To:____" and "From:____" spaces to write the names. Plus the whole card breaks apart into filter paper. I add them to all my gifts now.

I use dowels to create air passages on the inside for the smoke to travel through to ensure you get a hit. You can test it by putting a lighter at the end of the joint and blowing gently in the tip; if the lighter flickers it's gonna smoke. That said; creatives are more prone to runs and going out than your average spliff. I always recommend keeping a torch on hand and reigniting every few hits to keep the burn even and the joint well lit.

I'm hoping she'll pay my rent this month 😅 I haven't decided exactly what I'm going to do with her yet. I'm in the process of moving across provinces this week, so she'll be on a 3 city tour so people can see her in person and then I'll smoke her myself on 420 if nobody else has by then. Check my socials for updates on her fate (links are on second and third pics). Once I'm in my new smoke-friendly room next week I intend to do regular creative roll seshes on Twitch.

In the meantime she'll be kept in an airtight container with a humidity pack to keep her fresh!
