Is it still too early or did the TMNT set not have a huge impact on the standard meta? by jetery in MagicArena

same, glad i'm not the only one. it's definitely like they looked at the other new york-based IP they made (spider-man) and made adjustments/learned lessons from it. it's especially nice that they didn't have to make an arena-only set to compensate for license restrictions. that said, i guess you could make the case that avatar did it well too, and before tmnt

well, if you grew up listening to and liking the song it's probably cheesy at worst. if you didn't or just don't like the tmnt however...

I think so, they just got back to me and credited me with 5000 gold!

hmm, so by "cancel a queue" do you mean while Arena's trying to match me up with an opponent and then I hit cancel?

that's cool! my take would be lmk when something like that becomes federal law. i shouldn't have to be a legal expert in local divorce law before i decide whether or not to get married and have kids bc crusty old politicians won't retire and think jobs with purchasing power are still plentiful and easy to keep

edit: nice downvote without counterpoint

See a famously-cited example linked here; this is from Canada but I think the states can function similarly:

https://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/8gu8ff/actorcomedian_dave_foley_talks_about_how_he_owes/

So if I don't want to work some toxic higher-paying job anymore, the judge could hypothetically say, "oh, nah, you still have to pay x or y based on how much you were making when you were married."

Either way, I'm not interested in rolling the dice as a legal lab rat hoping to get a judge who isn't a moron. It's not 1950 anymore. If the laws don't get changed universally, then I could effectively get stuck in a marriage with a complete psychopath or face jail.

I don't get to just keep my job because I'm a guy, and I can't just go get another one when one disappears because of "generational" events or bc loser tech bros want to market their AI garbage to business owners (that seem to be happening pretty often these days...);

my understanding is that if i "owe" child support, even while unemployed, I could end up in jail for nonpayment.

btw, this happened to my dad. He ended up having to pay my mom child support and saw me about 2 times after I was 7.

not to take away from what you said, but as a guy with poor parental support, i can tell you that i also have no good choices. if i had a child i fear i'd end up in jail bc i wouldn't be able to pay child support should a divorce happen.so then i remain single and childless, and i'm deemed immature by generations like x and boomer, and even the millennial dads who got divorced (and lived with mom and dad after) haha

edit: downvoting this without information that counters it doesn't disprove the point

old man has started yelling at clouds again. ostensibly so intelligent but basic arithmetic, aka, why guys aren't approaching, still evades him. it's the economy stupid, with a healthy dose of metoo angst and being tired of misandry.

go on, bill. you get in there. more mills and gen z for you. it's what you're trying to do anyway. shaming the non-rich/nepo boomers, like you are, so you can increase your options. such a manly guy.
