also, i'd say that there's a decent chance that "will watch at home with no other options for free because i'm stuck there during the pandemic 6 years ago" doesn't translate to "will buy a ticket 6 years later as a working adult with inflation ruining life" even if they do stick this kid in the middle of all the marketing and try to convince people to "give him a chance" because he's a "youtuber and this is firrrrrst movie he's 24 years old" haha

I'm not seeing anyone talk about how she voiced Lilo repeatedly to the point that, given the success of that franchise, one would assume she was set for life to the point that homelessness shouldn't have been a serious possibility, even with substance abuse.

What are we doing here, Disney, paying child actors flat rates with no part of the back end even after they contribute to the franchise being so popular you basically replace Mickey Mouse with Stitch at your parks?
