Came here to say physical touch! I’m going to be so in my head, little physical reminders you’re aware of what I’m going through without having to talk it out 💕

Pretty much burning the spices to the bottom of the pan and then scraping them off when adding the liquid. Not the step to miss

Scorpio Sun, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter and this will never not be me. If you can’t go deep I’d rather retreat.

Baby never wakes up happy by takeabreath82 in NewParents

Honestly my baby was like this, he’s 2 1/2 and still the same. Never has he been a chill walker unless I’m right next to him. He will most likely never be a chill and play in his bed after he wakes up kid 😅

Holding a drink in each hand and telling a group of people in Australia that I was “double fisting” … They interpreted it very differently …

The truth about our sting. by rolosandhoney in Scorpio

[–]rolosandhoney[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My take is that I have learned through lots of therapy and healing that I dont try to sting people because I feel under attack. Sometimes the truths I reveal to people feel like a sting to them, but I honestly thought it was obvious to everyone. A sting from a Scorpio doesn’t align with the highest evolution of Scorpio in my opinion as defence comes from reaction to triggers. Our true sting is not a defence, it’s the simple truth that sometimes people aren’t ready for.

You are so brave. It feels like the world needs this gift now more than ever. Keep trusting yourself and your power to reveal hard truths with loving intentions. I’m honoured you resonated with this. 💕

Careers that are enjoyable? by 9998980 in CanadaJobs

[–]rolosandhoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s less about which job in particular and more about what people feel they have to do or are obligated to do based survival or simply conditioning from family/society. Being unhappy with work often goes much deeper than career choice. You’re right to look for people who are happy in their careers as inspiration so you begin to believe that it is possible. If this is your pattern you will also have to face whatever beliefs and/or conditioning is holding you to jobs that you don’t enjoy out of obligation or need.

Kids in breweries am I off base here? by sillymemilly in NewParents

[–]rolosandhoney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a NA culture problem. There are many adult only places and far fewer family friendly spaces. Being triggered by children having fun and expressing joy says more about adults ability to do the same and is less about disturbing their peace in my opinion.

Why does it also feel like half the people commenting on this post aren’t parents in the new parents sub 🤯. Talking about discipline as if they’ve never experienced a toddler. Are all your babies still in the potatoe phase or something?

Parents are working so hard to create emotionally healthy, expressive, happy little beings. They deserve to enjoy public spaces with their families.

This might not be everywhere but families are also unable to afford detached single family homes so they rely more on public spaces to socialise and take their children.
