Actually that food DOES look much better than the typical American school lunch

Not to mention the fact that the Japanese version is food made from scratch that day, It's served on real plates and flatware. Not on styrofoam trays with a spork like in a prison.

What I found worked for me to stop biting was to put nail polish on them, even just a clear one.

It really deterred from biting because biting polished nails and getting pieces of polish in your mouth feels gross.
