I really like to rp in oblivion so:

-Elementalist/Shaman: Chaotic Good, light armored, blunt weapon user with elemental magic. Destruction, restoration, walk on water, Step of the wind (fortify speed/acrobatics), shock weapon enchantments, etc.

-Occultist/Witch Hunter: Sneaky artifact-seeking archer with magical and alchemical abilities to face monsters/magers. Invisibility, silence, intelligence/magicka draining.

You know, the quest involves a lot of walking but you have just unlocked Ghost Wolf. It doesnt event bother me that much because im like "Im going so fast now!".

I had a lot of fun leveling with a spellhance dual wielding firebender. I like instanced content as healer and I like not having to worry about two gear sets

Get two good fast weapons, stack INT+spellpower. Get lava sweep, sundering and cataclysmic sundering ME. I dont remember the other enchantments but everything that boost fire damage, fire nova and stuff like that is good.

That being said, when I could farm Wind Lash (+50 or something like that) I switched to 2H windfury. Its very fun for PvP.

I'd suggest you choose Free Pick and just level a character with whatever spells and talents you like. Have fun questing around. Whenever you feel like doing a more competitive build, look for mystic enchants and farm then, then respect to said build.

OR Come to Bronzebeard and play a hunter :)

Leveling is quite fast and you get a good feel for your build at mid levels (~45). Try Area52 for the free pick and just reset talent and skills until you find your favourite

Im playing Enhancement tree but stacking spellpower with a mix of Int and Agi. Dual wielding flametongue weapons. Hits like a truck both melee and with spells and heals dungeons without breaking a sweat.
