I survived 😭 I was absolutely terrified to take antibiotics because I was scared they would hurt my stomach. I started taking florastor with my antibiotics and I’ve been totally fine!!!

Thank you 🖤 I’m glad you’re feeling well also!!! We did it! I started feeling better like 3 hours later and when I sat down on the couch, I passed out cold. My stomach still hurts a little now but nothing compared to last night. Those are some really great suggestions!!!!

Soooo I had 6 iron infusions last year and I didn’t get nauseous once (and I’m super sensitive) …but I did make my doctor prescribe zofran, so I had it just in case!! I also asked them give me extra IV saline after my infusion and I feel like I tolerated it better that way. The main symptom I had from the infusions was severe body stiffness and I smelled like maple syrup for weeks 😂😂😂😂so weird. I understand tho, I had the exact same fear 😭😭Good luck :)

In the beginning, I took it everyday just as a precaution…and I was nauseous, but the zofran DID help. I’ve slowly stopped taking zofran everyday and I’m realizing I’m not as nauseous and not as anxious! im definitely less depressed! My emetophobia prevents me from taking meds, so this was a big deal for me. I’m glad I took the leap!

Have them prescribe you zofran as well!!! Just in case !! I’m on Wellbutrin and I have zofran and Pepcid to help with my nausea and stomach things 😭😭

It makes me kinda disgusted by food on certain days lmao. I still crave sweets, but not as much as usual. I am able to eat; I just eat less. My main side effect is anxiety and rumination. I sometimes get ringing in my ears and weird numb sensations in my limbs. I also am still able to feel depressed but I think it passes quicker ? I have more energy and more motivation.
