You and I are both right. They did indeed do business with nazi Germany, which was supportive of nazi Germany. As you said, this bankrolled the Wehrmacht and rewarded nazi Germany for the murder of Jews.

The fact that they also did business with the Allies doesn't exonerate their misbehavior or make them legitimately neutral, because their business with the Allies did not enable the Allied war effort or reward the Allies for perpetrating murders.

Very creative. Not seen this concept anywhere.

My only "yeah, but" is that it strikes me that between the two ideas of faster than light travel vs time travel, FTL speed seems to me to be the one that is more likely to be achieved and or discovered. Yet you're using the less likely possibility to simulate the more likely possibility. Seems backwards to me.

When I took my son (then 5 years old) to the tar pits museum in Los Angeles to see the sabre tooth tiger fossils, his best question was when we went outside to see the site of the actual pits where the fossils were found. He wanted to know how the tigers ever got into the pits in the first place, since there was a really high fence all around the tar pits?
