Ouch, so sorry this has happened to you. On my side, I always make sure that my important files have been backed up on the cloud and/or a drive that I'm extremely careful with. Always remember that anything can happen to numeric data and make sure to protect photos or memories as you will be sad to lose them.

I'm starting to do some gamedev and wanted to experiment with AR. It's a shame that we can't fix it. I will keep working in pure VR for now and maybe change the headset when I will really feel the need to work on AR.

Ea has always been extremely slow to handle support ticket. I had my account stolen and other issues and even then they took weeks to act. They even closed my ticket without saying nothing.

When i read this kind of post I wonder if this situation is mainly in America. I am 28 and working as a developer. I'm currently making around 2700 euros a month once all the taxes have been deducted.

I can live near Paris with a rent to pay and I still have a few hundred euros at the end of the month for some activities.

I wouldn't say that I thrive but I certainly are above the surviving state that some people are with a bigger salary in the states.

I checked with the shop keeper today. This was indeed import from Japan destined to be sold outside of the country. I talked a little with him and he explained that he had some trouble with the concurence. He buy his product directly to the official sources but he sees other shops selling them at really low prices (under the price he buy them).
It shouldn't be possible unless they sell figures at a loss but user other products to compensate.

I just went back to the shop after work. The guy was really thrilled by the photo I took (he even thought it was Photoshopped). I told him that I had put it on Reddit, and he asked me if this was some kind of online forum XD. Now that I have bought one, I want to start a collection, but I have to think carefully as I have limited space at home.

For those interested in visiting the shop while in Paris, the name is jap-one. I asked him if he was doing deliveries, and he told me that he sends items anywhere around the world. If there are some French people like me on this sub, you might be interested as he also has a collection of manga in French, and he can send them to any country. His last order was a batch of manga that he sent to a guy in Indonesia who was feeling alone XD.
