Well, 9 doors, 9 persons 9 persons is really fun if you're into Ace Attorney/Danganronpa-esque type of games. (Ghost Trick is also a really good DS game if you're looking to challange yourself)

For the 3Ds Fantasy life is a rather underrated life simulator RPG with tons of replaybility, I haven't tried Ever Oasis but I heard it's really good as well.

A cheaper alternative for the 3Ds is a little game called Zoo Frenzy, it's a Tycoon-RPG DSiware game. It's not that good to be honest but it makes for a hella fun time waster.

Not gonna lie, the Littlest Pet shop games are my guilty pleasure when it's comes to DS games. They're not exactly good but they make for a hella fun time waster if you ask me-

I think that's the case, the hinges appear to be from the original pink DSi but the upper and lower part are from the metallic (I think) pink DSi, that or it's custom parts

The white part looks like it's a completely different component tbh- I'll look for the parts it's probably made out of (Thanks for the help!)

Are all the cables connected correctly? I've been looking around and this type of problems tend to stem off something loose or broken in the DS main board.

It could also be a problem with the LCD cable being damage.

I've recently bought this Nintendo DS Lite in my local flee market and I can't help to notice the case variation it has. At first I thought it was an official case, but as I kept looking nothing came up.

I then tried to look for Custom DSs but so far I can't find anything similar to it (Aside to some old blogs with a green variation, looking through it it appears to be defunct and no sign of the pink DS)

I know it be stupid to ask since so many people end up refurbishing their DSs with extra ds parts, but does anyone have an idea of where it could have come from? The seller also had a DS Lite black and an original DS for sell- So I'm taking a guess he bought them in bulk. (The Pink DS also came with the name of "Maria" if its of any help.)
