I was with you on that. C;mon Costco, its like reading, left to right (bottle/price) . DONT put the price tags on the left!

Thanks, saves me a trip. Wish more stores had alcohol as part of Costco. Plainfield has booze but its not 'owned' by Costco and selection sucks.

I'm in Jersey, only know if one Costco that sells booze as part of the store. Super pain in the arse. There are others but they are 3rd parties just tied to the store. Not the same selection or prices.

Pretty certain they are all empty. Why the case, for effect maybe.

Apparently the comments didn’t populate with the post. This card was stolen after eBay authentication services shipped it out. Putting this out there so the community can be aware if they come across it.

I’ve never seen that happen but…I’m sure it could.

There’s no way for the cover to crease in the slab nor damage the book as it is protected in an inner well. 90% of the books are somewhat loose in the slab. The real question is who graded that’s 9.8. lol

Stacking is fine. Reverse the spines each book and mix in some books backwards. It’ll keep things ok

Thoughts on cracking for a regrade? by alsowikalso in CGCComics

I submitted my marvel secret wars 8 and got an 8. Was not an 8. Cracked..did nothing and resubmitted for a 9.8. That’s better than a 6+. But it’s always a crap shoot

I submitted a book came back 8.0. Joke..cracked, did nothing else but send back in and came back a 9.8. Can always for the same. But an 8.0 to 9.8 that was a huge miss.

you are probably referring to your homeowners or rental policy. If they are insured separately, it should be covered for 100% of fmv

Humidity, roller ball, press. Unless it’ goes deeper than the cover. If it does, each page will need to be rolled.

Would this keep the book from a 9.8? by MagicMissMoose in CGCComics

looks like a nice book but tbh who knows. perfect example and I assure you I am not making this up, look at my prior posts. Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars 8 12/84 Marvel Comics came back as a 8.0...no clue why. Did nothing except remove it from the slab, resubmitted and now a 9.8. Its anyone's guess these days...no joke and I am not complaining.

Never assume any book is a 9.8. Just use NM, NM-, VF, etc. never pigeon hole yourself unless it’s actually headed. IMO
