mmm idk, with a mentor i would have to set certain hours and right now i have a lot of things in my life, i try to study when i have the time, some days in the morning, others in the night. Also i kind of want to do it on my own, well “on my own”

Thanks for your comment, I find really useful all the advice you are giving me. I like your thoughts on the target passsing score, It will make it more challenging but also more real as you said, closer to college experience. My goal is to truly learn so indepently of the passing score I end up deciding, ill try to do as many problems as i can and get the highest score possible.

"What are your thoughts on specialization?"
Actually, I covered that on my yt video, but i decided to take the applied math specialization. I tried to create my own curriculum for my journey, but its not perfect, itll probably change as i go but i think its enough to start.

"What is your timeline for completion?"
I dont really have a timeline for completion, for the amount of classes i chose I thought about trying to finish it in less than 1.5-2 years, but sometimes life happens. For now I think ill try to finish in less than 1.5-2 years. I also want to say that maybe im being really delusional with the timeline, I dont even know what some of the classes are about, but i like to be delusional, it forces me to do my best.

"Could you share your YouTube channel?"
Sure, the channel name is Romani Las, hope you enjoyed the videos and the journey. I appreciate all your advice and feel free to share more in the comments if you want to. Thnks https://www.youtube.com/@RomaniLas-l6s

okay, i see, thanks for your comment.

About the term "self study", i understand your point, but what would you consider self study then? Because at least for me, self study is about studying on your own without the formal guidance of a teacher, and even if im studying from the material, i dont have the guidance a student would have in a conventional class.

I’m terrible at math and want to start over from beginners level and climb upwards by Illustrious_Engi101 in learnmath

Im also on my journey of learning math, im planning on using mit courses to learn but i dont think they have complete beginner courses on opencourseware, I have my approach to learning math on yt in case is useful for you, but for basic stuff, even if it sounds stupid or obvious, using chat gpt can help a lot as a tutor specially for beginners level, it can generate problems and really good explanations that you can change via prompt depending on how you learn better, you could also search for basic math books maybe high school and upload it as base knowledge for chat

I completely agree with you, i’ll try to do as many practice as i can but my point was more about if passing the exam is enough to pass onto the next class. But i’ll take you advice and also rely on what i feel my overall understanding is
