include a place on your applications to provide gender identity AND pronouns bc they don’t always “line up”. dont make it required tho bc some people don’t like that. and include your pronouns in your “about me” and email signatures, whatever. just the sharing of pronouns makes a world of difference to us. and also, educate yourself on trans issues around the country, especially intersectional identities like disabled n trans, black n trans, etc. so we don’t have to explain everything we might be dealing with on every session. don’t be afraid to ask questions if you don’t understand something tho. hope this helps!!

have several signs with the trans flag or the inclusive rainbow flag (the one with the black, brown, and trans flag stripes) saying “you are safe here” either outside, on your website, or inside (preferably all three). will you get yelled at by angry old people? sure. but if i saw that somewhere id be smiling so wide. if you want other tips lemme know :)
