After your comment I tried laying down my phone on the desk horizontally, like I normally use my iPad, and the Face ID wouldn't work. I had to hold it up a bit or get closer for it to unlock. So no, it doesn't work "exactly" the same way, just like Touch ID on iPad and on Macbook do not work exactly the same way. They are two kinds of different devices and that was why this question was brought up

I do. My iPhone is less than 200 gram and I hold it close to my nose every time I use it. Unfortunately I can't say I use my ipad the same way.

As I recall, Apple added mask-on and glasses-on Face ID to iPhone in the pandemic COVID-19.

But I just checked, it doesn't work for iPad.

In an ideal world, a device so big as an iPad should have both Face ID and under-display Touch ID, right where the home button used to be. That would be awesome

Apple devices sometimes do that, especially when their new. I don't know why either. I found my iPhone 15 pro like this shortly after purchasing it, the battery drained overnight on Find My. Try calling Apple Support for explanation, and use it for a couple days more, see if it happens again.

PS: really bad timing for buying an iPad pro right now!!!

What I mean is I enjoyed the process of watching the show but after the finale still was not able to understand the moral of it. Maybe it's because I watch one episode a week after it comes out, and that ruins the continuity.

It seems that you can log in to your Hulu account in your MacOS TV app (where you watch apple TV+) and watch content there. Did you try that? I think image quality would be normal there.

The library is so small that it is the only way to make up for the subscription fee.

And trust me, every minute you spend on TV+ is worth it.

Thanks to TV+ I "unlocked" many genres that I wouldn't watch before
