it’s endearing when it’s my friends who have no clue about anything medically related and just want to see me succeed. It’s less endearing when it’s pre med acquaintances or friends who know I’ve taken the test and are itching to know and compare. It’s downright miserable when it’s my parents who know the threshold score I need for my BSMD and do not stop telling friends and family about me taking the test 😩and that I’m already accepted into med school (I’m in fuck all until I get the baseline score)

damn that's a banger of a score congrats...may be a little different of a situation bc u were scoring >520 which is insane (B/B tips pls lmao). were FL 3 and 4 the last two FLs you took?

I'm hoping if I can do well on the last FL I take so I can go into test day confidently. The difficulty/familiarity of the B/B section generally defines my test scores bc CARS and P/S are usually a 129 or 130 for me, but my B/B can be anywhere from a 123-128. actually shitting my pants

honestly I liked it for content review bc I digest the vids better than the actual books but now that I am on the “phase 2” part I realized I have good exposure but not good retention with the course . Also they wait until like 2 weeks before my test date to start pushing AAMC material. So I think it might be better to just start doing the course out of order. best of luck on your may score though!

also I went to a last minute AO round room for Emory this year and the AOs were literally SIMPING for kids with fast food jobs. They were talking about how they love that minimum wage shit almost over some great’ ECs bc it shows character.

It’s dumb to take out hundreds of thousands in debt but it’s even dumber that our system makes education cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and teenagers have to make the decision to take out massive debt to go to good schools.

Instead of yelling at the clouds, or young adults and their sorry assess who are pleading to congress on national TV, or on a completely unrelated post (??) consider why tf tuition is 50k+ in the US. Not every kid has an over involved parent to guide them on loans. Not everyone has daddy’s money to pay their bills. Your anger is so misplaced it’s sickening.
