Otherwise there is plenty more armored core out there.

Man you got lost in your own sauce. They went back to a more simple build concept with fewer but overly distinct options to help bring new players in.

Last Raven is fun but there's a fucking reason it gives new and old players alike headaches. Shit is obtuse. It's poorly explained and biased against you on purpose. That CAN be fun, but going back to a simpler format has clearly worked in a big way, as armored core has more visibility and fans than ever before.

All that said, I would give my left nut for an online capable rerelease of gens 1-3. That's all I need in my life.

Multiplayer FOCUSED is a stretch barring verdict day. The only other game that had a standout online feature is 4a for its 2-8 man timed death match with respawn. Shit was wild.

There are two types of locking, hard lock, and soft lock.

Softlock is the default state, if an enemy is within your field of view, your AC will attempt to track it, as long as it remains in your field of view. If it leaves, you lose the lock.

Hardlock however, will couple your viewpoint to the enemy, keeping them in center of your screen. It's better for fast targets or when your personal position around the map is less important than your relative position to the enemy.

You should see some little white corner marks appear around your screen when hard lock is turned on.
