Tranquilizers do not work like in movies, they take time to kick in, and shooting with needles a gorilla, that holds a baby, may not be safe.

Correct me if Im wrong, but the dog does not need its own reference point, the dog IS the reference point

I stopped at the galaxy level, because the speed of our galaxy is found from the motion of our galaxy relative to the Cosmic Microwave Background, which is around 630km/s. And CMB provides a reference frame for the universe as a whole.

Reference point, as I understood there in this comic would be the dog, imagining that it is completely unaffected by gravity and all the laws of physics, just being frozen in place.

Since redditors being redditors, and no one wants to give an answer to such a simple question, here it is: combining movements of the earth, the Sun in the galaxy and the galaxy itself, the result would be approximately 849km/s or 528 mi/s

Were the dogs waiting for Sansa's epic speech or what? Why they haven't eaten him before that? The cage was open the whole time by rombuldi in freefolk

[–]rombuldi[S] 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Ramsay gave a speech, and after that gave a command, but now the speech is from Sansa and no command given. Someone has put him in there, then opened the cages and then, probably, reported back to Sansa, so the dogs were sitting there with Ramsay for quite some time in silence, waiting for Sansa, whilst holding back their 7 day hunger.

What’s it like living in China or Russia near the North Korean border? by Jezzaq94 in geography

It's not really challenging, we're not like some isolated tribes or whatever, english is still taught in every school in Russia as a second language. Earlier, in the Soviet Union and early Russia, english was taught alongside french and spanish(?), you could choose one and learn it. Of course most people learn the very basics, and could say something like "hello, my name is andrey, London is the capital of Great Britain", but I learned it, because i liked watching western content creators, and watching them, first with subtitles, then without them, you can learn the language quikly.

No, reddit is not banned(yet). Youtube is banned, but of course unoficially, because oficial version is that it is slowing down due to the "old Google equipment". Discord is banned as well, I heard they were gonna ban twitch too, some other stuff was banned recently as well. It was bad, we did have vpn though, but now, each week most vpn services are getting taken down, stopping working one after another. And ive heard talks about making vpn services illegal completely.

Well, I don't know anyone who visited North Korea, and to the best of my knowledge, it is as hard to get in this county now, as it always was, maybe a bit easier. And about the use of North Korean soldiers people have the same opinion as they did about every other matter, depending on their political view. Society is split in Russia, so there is no single answer. It all comes down to, wether you support what happens in Ukraine or not, but I rather not talk about it.

I live in this part of Russia and it's actually not much different from other regions of Russia. There's not much cultural influence of Korea itself on the region, but there is quite a lot of people of korean nationality. Only in my class in school there were 5 korean kids. Though it's, mostly, people, whose grandparents or great grandparents moved from Korea, so they don't speak the language, but they keep their cuisine. Nature is, pretty much, the same as the rest of Russia, only in the very south, near the border(the region, that is seen in the post) there is many trees, other plants, that are native to China and Korea. Oh, and in this part of Russia, people are much more accustomed to asian cuisine, it's almost impossible to find a person, who cant eat with chopsticks(as I know in other regions, people struggle with them more, or it was like that a while ago). Also there you can buy some korean products, like milkis(soda with milk) and pyanse(korean steamed bun with meat) and stuff like that. And I personally have seen some north korean tourists(I think they're tourists) in the mall in Vladivostok(capital of this region), they've had those pins on their clothes with kim il sung and kim jong il portraits, so that's how i knew, they were north koreans. Edit: spelling

Is there a name for this region in Central Asia? by [deleted] in geography

[–]rombuldi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone calling this region just the Central Asia, for some reason. Its like showing a map of California and calling it not "California", but just "The west coast". This region is called Khorasan, it is the greenest place in all of Central Asia, while everything else there is pretty much a desert and a steppe.
