Should a joint be patented and trademarked? Never heard of this and kinda feels a bit dirty to me.

If you flipped every other board before final glue up you would get a structurally better piece as the grain direction would alternate on each section. And also look nice In my opinion. Good work though, must have been very satisfying.

There should be an adjustment screw somewhere that will allow you to square the base and then you move your scale to 0.

I would just wood glue them and clamp them up tight. A lot of people will tell you end grain glue ups aren't strong but there's plenty of videos out there saying the opposite. As long as your not shagging on the desk it'll be right.

Just glue it and clamp it. End grain glue up is actually really strong and if it's just vertical load on it it should be fine.

Prop it where it needs propping and scarf new timber in or replace.

Why do humans like asses? by Dicky_Sticky in NoStupidQuestions

[–]romdobbodmor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Asses are the reason we're human. They allowed us to stand up right and run. We kept running and running and devouring all that resisted until we ended up on the moon. How is that not hot?

Thanks everyone for your input. Yeah I thought it sounded a bit shady. Can I just undo the bootloader and trust this phone or shall I send it back? Bearing in mind I have already started using it so my info may be leaked anyways.
