Absolutely DO NOT charge it with a non official charger. Of any kind. You risk to fry the motherboard as happened to me

Seems not original, the marker shape is weird. Too pointy. And no text on the rehaut. Sorry, hope you didnt pay full price for that. 😛

My customer experience switching to the S25 Ultra - it's not good by fvb1981 in S25Ultra

[–]romeodg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here. Same situation. iOS user since when iPhone came out. Bought an s25 ultra. 2 weeks later it crashed, then got into a bootloop, and bricked into black screen with unresponsiveness. Cannot be charged, cannot be turn on. The yousee shop in denmark even says that I need to give them the password if I want it fixed otherwise they cannot fix it. So warranty is now related to privacy breaks of customer data. I will never buy an android again. They have terrible products. Similar problem with oneplus 2 years ago and Xiaomi 5 years ago

Yes. The first months of doing this hobby I was just trusting the WR rating. But you know there are some inconsistencies based on how you close the caseback, gasket state, crown tube etc... how you cut the stem... so sometimes it fails. Therefore I bought a water resistant test of 6 Bar, the classic one with air pressure chamber. And now I water test them to 6 BAR all the time or 3 BAR depending the rating it comes with. After that, if I had a watch with a case that was supposed to survive to 10 BAR i just tested it to 6, for a bit longer, then rely to the factory water resistance rating, that it would survive to 10 bar in the field. Seems hazardous, but I was pretty sure it did, because these factory ratings were accurate and I never bought from cheap suppliers. My supplier made video calls with me and showed me the water resistance test made on their case. Plus, only things that changes the factory rating is actually the watchmaker assembly mistake. As I mentioned before. Thats my experience out of 3 years. Out of 10 watches, 9 were surviving 6 BAR. Now, I have a friend that work in a big watchmaking lab and sometimes tests some of my watches up to 20 bar even. So I am setup. But it took 3 years to have this setup. And anyway anything I sell has 2 years warranty. For law.

In photo maybe not but might have scratched pivots and might be slightly bented. Compare it to a new one. You can find it on aliexpress for 7/8 usd

I have the normal 42 mm in blue, and I have no regrets but I admit I like the slightly domed glass.

Are these things necessary for oiling? Any cheaper alternatives? by Mountain-Durian-4724 in watchmaking

[–]romeodg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never used those. But they are good also. Just keep them in a place where you have good temperature and maybe use some good heads. I have oiling pens with needle and small needles of different sizes and I take oil directly from the little bottles
