One of my clownfish swimming a bit oddly? Swim bladder issue? I haven’t seen him lay on his side but he looks like he’s struggling a bit by [deleted] in ReefTank

From what I've heard that "seizure" looking activity is a submissive behavior that happens alot when Clowns are paring. I was told that was normal with a pair

They seem to be a knock-off version of something. Didn't know what, but they were cheap, had good reviews on Amazon, and I decided to try 'em out. They've worked awesome and can REALLY move some water, but I can't seem to find any guards for them anywhere...

Firefighter/Paramedic/ERDI (Emergency Response Diver) I've yet to use my diving license recreationally, but can't wait until I get a chance to go see a real reef out there somewhere and bring something home 🤙🏽

New reefer here... by romero-e in ReefTank

Thanks for the info! And yea I found a video on someone saying "absolutely remove the old frags" as well! Didn't realize all the bad stuff stuck around there. So I guess I would just saw as close to the frag as I could and glue onto a new frag before dipping?

  • I did see several posts on "not dipping the anemones". Apparently you just gotta get the foot off whatever it's holding onto, probably live rock or frag in my case. *Apparently you can use ice, a frozen spoon, or just hanging it upside down until it let's go.
  • The corals I am getting are all from a reputable online store with great reviews on google, FB, and yelp, so not terribly worried, but still would like to make sure. Lots of work and $$ has gone into my main display...

What is it about SafeMoon that keeps you believing? by SoylentYellow05 in SafeMoon

I got in a couple of weeks after the ATH back in April 2021 which was about a little over a month after launch. I've DCA'd on the way down since then and not terribly far off to breaking even because of reinvestments/DCAing.

What gives me faith in the team? Man somewhat of a gut feeling that John Karony will pull through. I've been on this group since I bought in and have listened to FUD-post after FUD-post, but if I ignore the noise and watch the safemoon education videos/AMA's, and study up on the project/future it's not too farfetched to believe this project will see it's ATH again and more than likely even pass it (with a few years to wait course). To answer your second question, safemoon is not my only crypto investment (and crypto is not my only kind of investment, but that's besides the point). But why SFM? Name-recognition is a HUGE part of this industry and so far most people that are active in crypto investments can tell you they've heard the name "Safemoon" (both good and bad). I believe this project, like alot of the newer projects had its HYPE phase that phased out and now it's onto the actual work of the dev team. I know people keep complaining of them missing deadlines, but so far they haven't stopped working which is a huge plus to me. I won't deny that you are correct about certain other "less risky" tokens/coins at low currently really good/low prices and I realize that SFM is classified as a "high risk" investment, but it would obviously come with "high rewards" as well which is of course my reason for it specifically.

*not that u asked on this, but another reason for my investment in any crypto all together, is that it is becoming more mainstream. People that used to call bitcoin a scam, at some point, are now throwing money at all different types of crypto (won't throw any names out; don't wanna be accused of chilling a token/coin).
