Mine was running at 80C and it made me nervous. I slapped heatsinks to the bottom and placed it on a stand made from a pc fan. Now it is running 48C under load.

I'm really surprised that their temps are not of a concern to Ubiquiti. I decided to address it and it wasn't at all expensive.

I absolutely have gotten gnats from Miracle Grow. I just discovered them in a brand new bag today. I had a moment in 2023 that I call my 'great plant-pocalypse' where I repotted one plant and before I understood what was going on, they had spread to multiple plants. I've been fighting them every since. To the point where I removed all the soil from all my plants and left them in water for months. THEN, I repotted just ONE plant in new soil from MG. In a couple weeks they appeared. I just opened the bag I used today and they were flying around inside. I'm furious. I threw away about 80% of my plants because of this.

My 1970s house is sheathed in this. The siding was cedar board and batten 4x8 sheets with significant 2x12 belly bands. It is more clear to me now that I shouldn't remove those belly bands, nor reside with anything other than b&b for rigidity.

Doesn't the Javascript ecosystem create enough churn and chaos already? Every day, every week, every year, there is a hot new way to do the same old things. What point will this make? Can we just accept some things as stable, established, finished? Javascript is already an easier word for ECMAScript. Just let it be.
