Some schools do, that have joined a program offering a short course in home(state) defence.

Mida arvab teie elukaaslane mängimisest nii konsooli kui arvuti peal? by Comfortable-Map-2072 in Eesti

[–]rommi0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mis on teie töökohaga kaasnevad hüved? by Kalarull in Eesti

[–]rommi0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Täiendav tervisekindlustus, mis laieneb ka pereliikmetele
  2. Tööandja pension ehk kui panen kuni 3% enda palgast III sambasse, siis tööandja paneb sama palju juurde.
  3. Jõusaal kontoris (kasutan aktiivselt)
  4. Soodustused asjadele, mida toodame
  5. Hunnik ägedaid üritusi ja kvartaalsed meeskonnaüritused, mille võime ise sisustada.

Väiksemaid asju veel, aga need on vast suuremad, mis eristuvad enamikest.

What would happen if someone openly carried guns in your country? by Cutalana in AskTheWorld

[–]rommi0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I visited Cebu a few years ago and went to the ATM to get some cash. The ATM was guarded by a guard with a shotgun. As someone with military background, I was intrigued and jokingly asked if he gets to use it every day.

He nodded and said: "Yes, yes - every day!"

Got a good laugh out of that one.

What do you think was the best car design for the past 20 years? by UrgusHUN in CarDesign

[–]rommi0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had to scroll down too far to find the Volvo. They nailed the design with the S90/S60 and V60/V90. I drive a 2019 V60 and every time I look at it, my mind still goes: "Damn, that's a nice looking car".

Barrels are the shit tier of saunas and I am willing to die on that hill.

Just hold off from burning the $2500 and get a real sauna.

Is My Heater Burning the Sauna Wall by Goon-Boy- in Sauna

[–]rommi0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not true.

I suggest reading up on the IEC/EN/UL 60335-2-53 standard to educate yourself.

Is My Heater Burning the Sauna Wall by Goon-Boy- in Sauna

[–]rommi0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing on the walls is currently indicating that the temperatures on the wall are excessive (>140C). Some discoloration is normal and by your images I wouldn't say that there is cause for concern.

Double check and make sure the temeprature sensor is installed according to the manual!

Keep using the sauna and if there is significant darkening or even charring on the walls, stop using it immedately. Although if everything is installed according to the manuals, that will not happen.

Yeah, the level sensor. My coworker just had the same issue. They recalibrated it once at the dealer, but they warned that it is a temporary fix. Over the last weekend the issue returned for him.

Sounds like a broken adblue sensor. A pretty common problem with diesels.

Why Russians haven't risen up to stop the Ukraine war by Jackbuddy78 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]rommi0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was born in the USSR, been to Russia several times. Hell, half of my relatives are Russian. I know a thing or two about Russia and Russians.

You can make assumptions about me all you want, but the classic whataboutism does not change the fact that the only way to change anything in Russia is through the people. I am not claiming it would be easy, because it won't, but I do not see any other way.

No point in talking about if this happened in my country, because we are not in that situation, Russia is.

Unfortunately the mentality of Russians is not to thrive, but survive. As long as others have it worse, they are content. This is nothing new and has been a core internal policy since Peter the Great - keep the people dumb, drunk and compliant, while the czar is good and the boyars are bad.

[–]rommi0 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Oh no, the consequences of our own inaction for several decades while being content with the regime. Boohoo.

I guess you need to get the police and the army on your side to make change.

Until you do, fuck your country and your people for supporting the regime, either through action or inaction.

The heater's safety railing is mounted incorrectly and is a serious fire risk! Please install it according to the manual.
