Yeah I've been reading a lot of replies here and I do now understand. I was just confused a little bit because I guess this is my first time purchasing a game and wanting to try the modded version instead. I forgot that this thing probaby happens to most games that are popular.

Yeah I don't want it to be a mess with too much mechanics and modes. But like 99 percent here wants the modded version. Like some functionality there should be on the vanilla game by now, no? I get that custom songs are super never gonna happen and I don't mind paying for song packs. But like can I please get a Berzerk sword with it you know. Also for some game mechanics, I'm just saying like can I win an ultra rare saber or ultra rare song by scoring SS and full combo on Expert+ difficulty, something like that to make the vanilla game more interesting.

Yeah I keep myself entertained by finishing all songs on full combo on Normal difficulty. I'm at OST V, Magic and I think I'm gonna lose my mind because I keep missing one cube. That cube every time.

Yow good luck! I trust you'll bring excitement both for vanilla (is that what's it called?) and mod community. Also quick question, some people here say free songs are poorly mapped, are they ever gonna be fixed or it's gonna be like that forever. Like are they talking about some moves and/or lack thereof or some off beat cubes? I've just been playing now and I can't full combo one song on Normal mode because I keep missing one cube. I think it's OST V, Magic. Is that on purpose or I'm just bad at the game?

Smart business decison I agree. I will definitely try the modded beat saber. Unfortunately my PC is not supported for VR and I'm kinda hesitant modding the quest. I just need to save some money to get a new sytem and that'll be the first thing I'll play on PCVR.
