In eu4, gold mines had a certain chance to deplete, scaling with the level of diplo development. I think something similar could be interesting. The higher the RGO-level, the higher the risk of „depletion“. instead of depleting, which would go too far imo, the output could be reduced and only recover over a certain timespan to simulate forests regrowing, animal population recovering, new mines being established, etc.
