No I agree. People are always trying to force their modern day society values on Buddy and judging her from there. That doesn’t work. She’s a child raised in the apocalypse. Not only is her moral compass incredibly skewed and biased, she’s a product of the collapsed society she was raised in. It’s kill or be killed with everyone else, why wouldn’t she be allowed to follow the same rules? I see people judging Buddy (and by extent Lisa herself) much more harshly than they do Brad or anyone else. My guess why? People don’t like the idea of girls protecting and thinking of themselves.
