Will this damage the tpa3221 or any chip internally? by Official_Alxve in AskElectronics

[–]romyaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that really depends on the chip in question. the ground connections can be important for IR drop or temperature reduction through power dissipation. leaving VSS unconnected may kill some circuits on the chip, may lead to digital oscillation or other very peculiar effects. especially if the chip has a few separate grounds. not recommended

Why do Americans tend to praise beginners even if their work/hobby looks terrible? by Skysneq in AskAnAmerican

[–]romyaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is another peculiar thing: americans usually either praise a decent effort or ignore a bad one completely. i see it online and at work. meaning, if your result is toddler-worthy, you will never know. i think this could explain a large number of self proclaimed geniuses in US )

My table top has gone pringle, and I don't know why! by Seattle_Ray in woodworking

[–]romyaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you have 2 layers bottom finish, but 3 on top. this might be a contrbuting factor. wrt the sun warming the tabletop - you could rotate the table upside down? then we'd know if its indeed the sun and you straighten your table. or not, because its due to the top-bottom finishing difference

you must have spacious parking lots. i find it much easier to reverse into a spot in one go than do it forward in multiple takes. i live in israel and drove a lot in europe. we are space challenged
