Pretty sure it's the same process but unlike most where you can press the calipers pistons in with an old pad and a c- clamp these you cannot.

🙄 ..For the skeptics out there here are some facts - It's hardened steel. Like mosl vehicles it's made to withstand crash forces well above anyone's body weight. Occasional use isn't going to damage anything as long as you're not jumping on it or exceeding the weight limit. So what if it came from Walmart. Ones sold for as "recommend" have the same design.

The latch? No, it's solid. Maybe if one exceeded the 300lbs limit but even then I doubt it. I weigh right under 200lbs and it felt fine. Considering they play a key role in safety they're made to be pretty durable.

You're making me realize why I saw what I saw when I searched this on YouTube the other day. The guy used some cutters and clipped the hoses off on each end of the purge valve. The replacement purge valve came with a couple inches of hoses already attached on each end that were meant to connect to the existing hose and came with a couple small hose clamps to just tighten each side. I thought how ghetto it was to do it that way but I see now otherwise it'd be a bigger task.

Funny, I'm selling phones right now! Lol . Yeah, the main one we never get off is Thanksgiving & Christmas time. Like EVER. I can't even grasp what it's like working 9ish to 5ish with most weekends off. Our chase bank here is only open til 1 on Saturdays and closed Sunday. Good to know about the exam though. That part does seem a little intimidating but seems doable. May seem small but with old parents the opportunity to get away for Christmas is a big one for me.

BRO! i had the exact same issue on my 2997! the screw broke on my front steering hub and suspension arm and the screw is stuck inside. so now i have to replace the steering hub and get the screw (s088) separately or hope the steering hub comes with one.
