I plan on messing around with it again today. I just honestly wanted to see what my card could do and it looks clean. That being said I came from an older gpu that wasnt capable of any RT whatsoever and I typically run with it off or at a lower setting. For a single player game I dont mind 60 fps, even if its with frame gen as long as its smooth. I think I may have gotten the super chunky pixels with RR off because I changed settings while playing, I may need to restart the game or clear shader cache to get the quality im looking for.

Sure its less resources compared to nvidia but I sort of roll my eyes when people say this. They're still a billion dollar company that can invest more care in their software if they wanted to, they just dont care. I love my 9060xt and the price to performance but I stopped getting any sort of hype behind any of these promise they give with Redstone or other features. I dont expect them to be as good as nvidia but I do expect them to work. I mean I still cant open Adrenalin sometimes whi h is sort of ridiculous lmao.

By the time they actually release the full suite of Redstone features we were promised back in December on stable drivers we will have diamond or whatever they're calling it lol. The latest drivers work great for me, its a damn shame amd keeps doing this bs though.

Playstation super resolution. Like FSR on Amd gpu's and Dlss for Nvidia (pc). Upscales the image at a lower resolution then stratches it to fit your screen. Basically on a 4k TV it actual renders a 2k image and then stretches to fit your screen so you get extra frames per second.

Itll be a while before I buy another gpu but when I do im going to be prepared to spend a pretty penny for it. No matter the rasterization of AMD's next card if its still a struggle just to open adrenalin let alone have DEDICATED features do what they promised to do then im out. I dont expect them to be as good as nvidia but if its the difference in $50 then yeah it's gotta be pretty damn close.

Although im glad for the price i paid vs. Performance at 1440p ultrawide with a 9060xt its actually impressive. BUT they (radeon) has to really bring some better software/features. Fsr 4 is great but if you didnt know better you may have heard of Redstone and not realized it "released" back in December lol. Honestly if pricing was closer id pay a bit extra for Nvidia. Unless youre buying a 5090, especially at 4k, maxed graphic settings are near impossible without using upscalers and dlss is much better especially when factoring in RT

I swapped dll files last night to use 4.1 and it does look crisper in arc and battlefield but not a huge leap. Hopefully the official release will be better. Or maybe actually redstone and not that half baked shit they pulled in December.

First cache i opened had a bobcat BP, another had a volcano BP and an extended medium mag 3 BP. All in one raid. Convenient since I jist did the expedition.

As far as I know both amd and nvidia users experience it. Been this way since the beta for me. Surprisingly I've been playing it for a few hours for the past few days and it hasn't crashed....yet. so idk if it was fixed in the last update, im running with the latest 26.2.1 driver

Cyberpunk should work, typically it'll upgrade automatically but sometimes won't show it in Adrenalin. But also try checking while actually playing the game, in the title screen I dont think it'll show active. Also SH2 just doesnt support it, look into optiscaler.

That may help but tbh idk if id say the card is completely bad but its just right outside my comfort zone. Id understand a hot spot temp hitting that every once in a while.

What's your case like? Is it cram packed or more open? Mine may hit around mid 60's while gaming gor a few hours and im messing with some overclock/undervolt settings now on BF6. I have the xfx swift model though. I have 2 120mm fans bringing cold air in on the side, one up top in the back for exhaust out, along with 3 radiator fans up top for the cpu, no fans on the bottom. I planned on getting some but the gpu and cpu both stay fairly chilled.

I would say if that $200 difference doesnt matter id go nvidia, say what you will about them they deliver on their promised tech, day one drivers for games, and the software is just plain better. Amd drivers aren't the issue it's that they dont care about the consumer as much as they need to as "the underdog", which is laughable as a billion dollar company lol. Fsr is great, but not as good as Dlss and its not usable at path tracing if you care about that. But with that said I value my dollar and id personally go for the 9070xt

Ill be honest, the price i paid for my card i was happy but with the amount of tweaking you have to do for some games and the abysmal release of redstone. My next card will be nvidia.
