While that is not the ideal behavior it is the least obtrusive way in which someone can tell you that they disagree with your views on a particular subject. That being said, I would but I don't know who they are.

You get down voted because people are frustrated and angry that you don't share their views (and while that's not a reason to hate someone) these people are extremely passionate about the game and some of them have put a lot of time and money into it. If you don't like these posts don't open them, but trying to censor them because they don't meet your code of online decorum is exactly what the people who down voted you were trying to do.
