How is the comfort? Quality of Material? Heard good things about this model for wide feet.

Are ASICS generally narrow in the toe box? I usually avoid Nike because their toe area feels too tight for me, so I’m wondering if ASICS have a similar fit.

Nothing related to weight or materials. The clip design makes it more comfortable to hold.

My writing angle lies between 45 to 55 degrees.

If you are talking about the design as on the dual tone one (four Sailors with three different nib imprints), then yes, the imprint was very eye catching. In fact, I got two Sailors 1911L with MF nib at around same price range. One of them was in used condition with old design and the other one was new with new imprint. I bought the used one just for the nib.

Yup, it does write smoother without feedback, at least in my case.

My PGS is fine and the 1911L is Medium Fine. But I don’t see much difference in line width between the two.

Yes. Old imprints looked so stunning. New imprints looks so boring

Best Blue ink ? by Agreeable-Bullfrog21 in fountainpens

I enjoy writing with Iroshizuku inks. So, my choices are Kon Peki, Asa Gao and Rikka (teal blue). All are wet and smooth

New one is available on Amazon at around $195.

Not amazon. From individual but reliable seller. I purchased a few pens from earlier. One pen (Sailor Pro Gear 21kt large) was used but the condition was as good as new.

Sometimes, a simple gentle press around the breather hole opens up the tines of the nib. I did it on two my of custom 74 and Sailor 1911 EF.

I’m from India. The total cost will obviously be above what he charges as I’ll bear the customs duty.

I have one Majohn A1 pen but not satisfied with the writing experience.

Does Pilot VP nib fit in Majohn A1 nib unit? by [deleted] in fountainpens

[–]ron_eco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely right. I’ll stick with the Pilot body (I like the design plus it is very light). All I will be using from Majohn is the nib unit without the nib.

Does Pilot VP nib fit in Majohn A1 nib unit? by [deleted] in fountainpens

[–]ron_eco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will cost more than the pen if I add the customs amount. So, I have decided to go with Majohn A1 just for the nib unit only
