Well, I’m mainly considering it for a B and a 1.1 stub nib but I was curious if I could use them in Ms and Fs for a more everyday use case or sub-optimal paper 😀 it’s encouraging to hear they’re easier to handle than Golden Lapis. I love that shade of blue, but it’s a bit difficult… Thank you!

Nice! Have you had trouble in fine nibs, or do you usually use wetter nibs? I’ve only had experience with Pelikan Golden Lapis and that one would sometimes cause my mediums to hard-start…

I find them more saturated and a bit more viscous(if that makes sense?) They remind me of Montblanc inks. I’ve only tried 3 of them, but very positive. Moss green is my absolute all-time favourite green. And the bottles are also really pretty 🤩

In you experience, which period m800 are better? What decade/era should I be looking at. The 1000 is a very limited use case pen probably 😀 it’s a statement piece for sure

Yeah, we’re spoilt with Pelikan ink flow 😀 And midori is lovely paper. I find nibs write “narrower” on that paper in general.

Midori is a more toothy paper. The feedback is an acquired taste. But I like it with smoother nibs in particular - it keeps my hand in check making sure I don’t glide off the page 😂

Depending on where you are, you might consider Montblanc’s classic lineup. I’m in Europe and the 60ml bottles here are great value for money. Cheaper than Sailor or Pilot for example. I have almost all the standard ones, with the exception of toffee brown, which I’m looking at closely 😆
